Things affect everyone differently. Corrales was a very emotional person. I can see why he wouldn't be 100% knowing he was going to prison for some time.

Uh no. I don't even dislike Floyd as a fighter. It's just what happened.

I was a bug Corrales fan too. I thought he was going to win actually. The way he destroyed Manfredy had me convinced he was unstoppable.

That day I grew a profound respect for Mayweather, that slowly started diminishing by the level of comp he chose to face, pot shotting, and his ridiculous comments.

chico's mind was everywhere but in that ring against floyd. i remember betting against him solely based on all the distractions he had during training, although i expected him to be at about 80% and not 60%. looking back on it i dont think chico would have won even at !00% but the fight would have been much closer. other fights these fighters have had indicate that chico was not as bad as he looked that night and floyd is not as good.

:good I agree. I'm not saying Chico would have won, but it would not have been as lopsided as it was.

Typical. PBF's win over Chico was one of the greatest displays of the sweet science in the last 25 years it was an absolute clinic.:deal Seldom do you see two elite fighters at their primes fight and one get dominated that badly. Your lack of boxing knowledge prevents you from understanding that what you saw that night was was a true masterclass performance in the making that was beautiful to watch. Instead you make a ill-informed topic and now are trying to discredit this great performance. PBF beats Chico 10/10 times. Like Harlod Lederman said during the fight it was one of the best displays of boxing he had ever witnessed. If anything this boxing masterpiece is underrated. You my friend are truly ignorant of the sweet science.

well I cant take ANYTHING from what floyd has done in the ring
but his outside the ring persona rubs me wrong
I originally was a chico fan cuz me and him were both real tall skinny guys(he was a 6 foot 130-135 fighter)

Ok but at the time of that fight I remember a bunch of people sayin Corrales was to big..Corrales was gonna be to much...etc etc...NOW TODAY CORRALES HAD TONS OF PROBLEMS AND ALL THIS ****..CORRALES WAS A FAVORITE FOR MOST OF THE TIME BEFORE THE FIGHT...

It seems like you always find ways to discredit Floyd's W's!

A win's a win, people always try to find ways to discredit a win, and unusually enough one so dominant as the PBF-Corrales fight.
