I'd rather see Floyd vs Martinez at 160 lb tbh. He doesn't look as big as Canelo on fight night, and I think Floyd can beat him at this stage of Sergio's career.

    JMM ?
And Floyd didn't even stick to the catchweight.

154... Like I keep saying, Floyd won a belt in that division... what's the problem?

That's right I forgot about that.

but seriously, JMM had no chance at any weight. Floyd is just in another class than Marquez and I;m the biggest Dinamita fan there is.

Still an impressive victory to take on Marquez after such a long layoff. The guy really doesn't do "tune-up" fights even with his long layoffs.

This is one of those debats. 154 seems fair floyd has a middleweight belt at 154. He's not a middleweight, he can't even make the 154 limit coming in under it. I personally think he's too small for 154, he's basically maxed out weight wize at 154.

If he chooses to fight canelo at 154 he and everyone knows he will be giving up 20+ lbs on fight night. I personally think if canelo wants Floyd so bad he should meet him at 147. Floyd would never get credit for fighting a drained canelo. So they meet in the middle, fight at 154 with a rehydration limit of 10lbs. Floyd schools canelo boxing wize hands down but canelos power and weight advantage are the xfactors.

    Not really.

The size difference was too great. JMM was coming up almost two weight classes for the first time and Floyd came in at his regular weight, failing to even honour the agreed catchweight.

It was a masterful boxing performance on Floyd's part, but given that JMM was so out muscled, we don't know how he might have done had the field been more level.

I expect Floyd would have won anyway.

The fight should be what ever Mayweather wants it to be. Canelo is the challenger and doesn't call any shots.

    150.

    Fair for both parties.

Middle ground, and Canelo can probably make 150 without much trouble.

The problem is that canelo has no room to negotiate with Mayweather since he is the one begging Mayweather for a fight. If Floyd says the fight is going to be at 147 and Canelo has a problem with that then the fight just won't happen. Canelo needs Mayweather more than Mayweather needs Canelo.

Have you been listening to the news? Canelo don't need Floyd, which is why he made the decision of leaving the May card. Canelo still has a huge fanbase.

  12. I would want to see it at 154 simply because they would both be healthy at that weight. Floyd is just not big enough at 154 to deal with Canelo, and Canelo would be drained as **** at 147.

    The fight won't ever happen.

A younger canelo was unable to make the weight without trouble for Matthew Hatton.

Obviously Floyd is calling the shots but why drain canelo? Both are the top 2 in the division based on results they had in the division against fighters weighing at the limit in the division.

154 or it ain't really worthwhile.
