    Cortez has always been an egotistical biased buffoon. Every fight he officiates he thinks is The Joe Cortez Show. The fact two guys are fighting is secondary

    you hit the nail on the head. Another thing is Referees are supposed to help protect the fighters from injury. The way he officiated the Hatton fight and this, its getting dangerous.
