From what I have seen, 26 to 28 are the peak years for most fighters. I would say Cotto is at or very close to his peak, which is why he needs the big fights now.
Cotto is one of the young bright stars of boxing. He's looking to fight big fights and so far hasn't made a big deal about money or pulled that "he's too unknown" for my time. I know some of you talk **** about him, but appreciate him while it lasts. There really aren't too many attractions like Cotto today. Happy B day!
I like Shane a lot, but I hope Cotto doesn't get his chin cracked and knock Mosley out late like he's supposed to. Afterwards, if he beats Floyd, he will be the hero of boxing. I can't imagine the love he would get if he beat Floyd clearly. And if he knocked him out.. :happy :happy :happy Happy birthday to one of the most exciting fighters on the planet.
