Cotto and Shane would both be able to test Pacquiao's ability to take big punches at 147, but I don't think Cotto could maintain it, Cotto would eventually get stopped in a good exciting fight. Shane Mosley, on the other hand, has the speed, timing, and power to give Pacquiao problems, Shane can stop Pacquiao and would probably win a UD.

    Why does he have to?

He weighs like 4-7lbs lighter than Floyd on fight night. Why would he need to add 15 lbs?

Please know what you are talking about before you post.

Floyd is always lighter than his opponents. Sorry but you have no clue. Hatton weighed 4 pounds more for the fight. You're citing the weigh-in!

Floyd was out-weighed against Oscar by 10+ pounds.

Judah weighed 5 more pounds than Floyd.

Baldomir weighed 10+ pounds more than Floyd.

You cited the weigh-in, not the weight for when they stepped in the ring so get educated before you try an comment!

Floyd's top ring weight is 149. JMM weighed 140 for his last fight!

Exactly. Maybe someone should tell him Floyd does not add any weight at WW or very little, where as a typical WW will go up 10 pounds or more!

    so the hell what?

the question is why pbf is getting more **** for wanting to fight pac while mosley and cotto get nothing. my answer was because cotto and mosley have fought bigger man and are willing to fight against boxers who are legitimate threats to them. pbf has done no such thing at 147. boldomir and judah are not really top class welters are they? go back to topic please.

has pbf face a legit welter who had what it takes to hang with guys like mosley and cotto? the answer is no. and that's why pbf's gets so much ****.

are you really going to defend pbf for taking a fight with jmm? is that your idea of pbf fighting the best? a lightweight? floyd fanboys are funny. i pbf fought a paul williams or a margarito before, then he will not be hated on like he is today.

because it's beside the point. i posted that to shut up the other poster. i gave a ******ed reply to a ******ed post by a ******ed poster. happy?

why completely ignore my other arguements? care to go back to topic?

you boy has the talent but no balls to back it up. only pbf fanboys cannot accept the fact that he is a cherry picker. and yeah, i'm sure you can convince yourselves that jmm is a real threat because he is p4p #2 and he "beat" pac twice. i'm sure jmm is a much better opponent compared to mosley and cotto. i'm sure the main reason why pbf will fight is because jmm called him out.

    How long is for awhile?

Baldomir was the man of the divison.

He beat the Lineal Champion. When Floyd beat Baldomir, Mosley and Cotto hadn't even fought. Mosley had just got done fighting Vargas at 154 and wasn't even at 147 yet.

Besides Margarito who at the time was overrated, proved himself later on that it was a good reason to not fight him.

    Nothing to gain from.

But seriously, how long is awhile?

i got a question....Why did Mayweather reject the $8million to fight Margarito, but didn't he accept the same amount to fight Baldomir? :huh
