look on the paulie malignaggi documentary. watch the difference between the first conference call and then th eweigh in ceramony

he looked like he was mummifing himself. the cheeks were hollow his neck and jaw line were like watermelon on top of a stick.

yet again 147 is still hard for him i heard so you never know. 154 might beckon

Bad weight for him. 147 is the perfect weight for Cotto.

He has two things working against him at 154. His height is a big one IMO... guys like Paul williams... verno philips... at 6ft
Pavlik may be able to make 54 to make it happen. at 6'2".

Cotto only stands at 5'7"(officially, but i think he is a little shorter than that look back at the Malignaggi weigh-in/fight)

Also... as you go up in weight, any advantage you had in power decreases - with the exception that you get bigger to fill into your frame, but Miguel is already stocky . He'd have to say goodbye to what speed he DOES have to go upweight, I think.

Don't get me wrong, there are even CHAMPS that he could beat at 154, but 147 is the perfect fit for him.

Cotto weighing in 157 pounds against Demarcus Corley at 140 comes to mind. Cotto seems to be heavy for his size, kind of like Tyson. He might have to soon fight at 154 wether he wants to or not.

Problem is he just doesn't have Tyson's speed, pop, or explosiveness to carry him far in the higher weights.

    Nor chin.
