Cotto/Margarito 3 would be a waste of time. Cotto would be taking the easy way out if he took that fight.

Cotto is way too small for 160.

Can't really see the Canelo/GGG winner being ready for December. I expect both guys to want a little break after that fight. Canelo probably beats him worse at this point and GGG would march forward and bludgeon him. Lemieux is too big.

I'd rather Cotto just go out with a competitive, but winnable fight. Avoid the cream of the crop at 154 like Charlo, Lara, and Andrade; they would be too much for him. Pulling somebody with a name up from 147 to 150 or thereabouts might be the move.

Why doesn't he just quit while still ahead and enjoy his money and beautiful wife while he still can? That makes far more sense. He's not exactly what can be said to be a picture of exuberant health.

Canelo is going to beat GGG in a competitive yet convincing fight, then rematch Cotto in a cash grab, under normal circumstances I'd say beating Chavez, Golvokin, and Cotto in a calender year would be foty stuff but this has been a huge year so who knows

Golovkin would put Cotto into the hospital, Cotto could really get hurt. He would have a better chance vs. El Pollo, however, El Pollo is allowed to take drugs, owns the judges, referee, boxing commission, etc.

He looked fine at the weigh in. Didn't think he looked soft at all.

I gotta say.. I know he won and all and he will always have my respect no matter what.. I have to say though I didnt like what I saw. I think he should call it a day.. Cotto won the damn fight going backwards the whole time.. Thats why he couldnt KO this guy.. He was winded.. He looked exhausted and hes body looks different. Maybe it was the long layoff but he looked like hes done at the elite level IMO.. I think hes lucky he was fighting a human punching bag who had no power in his punches.. BTW Kamegai is ridiculous WTF was that? It looks like he was there to give Cotto pressure and target practice by moving forward and taking a beating.. Looked horrible.. horrible fighter should go do something else.. hes like Margarito but without any type of punching ability.. Anyhow.. I dont think Cotto should go near GGG or Canelo rematch.. I say call it a day or if hes gonna fight one more time then fight maybe Khan or Brook and ride into the sunset.. He deserves it and has plenty of money.. good luck to the champ..
