yes, i am more concerned with ATG, when i say elite, that;s more of what i lean to elite should mean top of the top, not just top 10 in a 7 pound spread div, now but i guess the term "elite" is just overused and diluted nowadays
NO! But for this era of WW's absolutely. There are only 3 active WW's that could be mentioned with the likes of Leonard and hearns, Gavilan....Shane, Floyd and Manny....And I'm not 100% sold on manny at this point until he beats the likes of Shane or Floyd. Floyd I'm not 100% sold on either....only b/c his resume doesn't support him being a TOP WW...but his skills and talent do.
how can this kind of questions be asked? the current elite welters now are pac, floyd and mosley. cotto more probably is still an elite but back then in 2008 he was the best WW when he beat mosley.

No. He was recognized as the best. But there were still two WW's who would have gladly whipped his ass. One was a brickmason and the other... Well , I hate to sound like a broken record... so I'll leave that one alone.
He has a lot of fans but that doesnt change the fact that you ****ed up leaving Mosley out of that poll for a guy(Willy) that ended up with three votes. Many guys that would vote for Sugar ended up voting for Cotto instead.
