To be honest, Margo wasn't really effective in the 9th, his punches didn't have much snap and cotto was just simply out classing him.

Saved Cotto from what ? More of Cheato's attempt to walk him down with little work rate ..Utter Nonesense !

  3. Perfect example of a fan with tears in his eyes and denial in his heart. Wow... speechless.

  4. Margarito had ZERO power in his punches especially in the 9th. He was done... maybe the 2 extra body shots Cotto decided to use last night, had an effect.

As a Cotto fan I was stressed the whole fight and relaxed around the 8 round and told my friends that he was going to KO him in the 10th or 11th. The 9th round was easy round for Cotto he won it and he was ready to step i up

Cotto would never KO margarito. Not in a million years. Do you even watch boxing? This fight only ever goes 2 ways, without that bogus eye doctor save stoppage.

Cotto by UD, if he's lucky and we're talking 12 rounds. or MOST LIKELY Margarito by T/KO. 100% if its 15 rounds.

    Cotto by KO? Go home.

look noob or alt you know **** about boxing. If you stay with your alt try using your v-cash to shaw how much you know. You are going to lose it in less than a month. I watch enough boxing to understand body language of the fighters and when they are hurt and tired and Margarito was both.

I agree, it was a perfect strategy for Cotto to run and clinch. Even if he believed that Margarito had loaded gloves before, he still was wary of Margarito's punches. This fight brings up again the issue of what makes a good boxer. Many fans like to see "fighters," those who are aggressive and charge towards opponents. There are also those who appreciate boxers who can avoid being punched while still being able to score. This difference in preference leads to a difference in scoring, and that's one reason why there is controversy in scoring, for example, Pacquiao Marquez 3. While Pacquiao gave beatings to those big guys, he only squeaked by Marquez, and even that was controversial. You gotta give it to Marquez, for me he is one of the best boxers. He is good at counterpunching, an intelligent and crafty fighter. Cannot help but bring up footstepping and the funny video that is a parody of that issue:

The doctor saved Margarito's future bouts. It's better to be stopped and fight another day than to kamikaze into hell.

Difference: Cotto pushing and clinching, getting off the ropes, pushing and clinching, those were the differences in cottos`s gameplan that resulted in a victory.
