Cotto in talks for Mayorga fight in July!!!!!

Mayorga is also perfect in hyping up a future fight with Floyd.

Mayorga has a rep as a loud mouth and (if you take what he says serious) a bit of a punk. Cotto beats Mayorga aka the loudmouth....then people say "Well if he can beat this jack ass, He can probably beat Floyd!"

Floyd/Cotto is gonna happen...you guys just need to be patient.

Margo wins and remains healthy but Arum says Clottey is demanding his mando before he allows Margo to fight Cotto. Thus, Cotto opts to fight Mayorga and passes up Margo.

 

If Margo or Cintron winner is injured then the Mayorga fight opens.

who else does Cotto have to fight, Can someone honestly answer me this question? Obviously it isn't Floyd at least not right now. There isn't a worthy opponent other than Cintron/Margarito winner because there will be a belt for grabs.

So if Cotto is going to stay busy with Gomez, Then go for an extra Title with Cintron/Margarito...And if at that time Floyd/Cotto is STILL not made then he can fight Mayorga and make some more money.

I blame Floyd vs DLH II for all of this. If DLH woulda fought Cotto then we would have gotten Floyd vs Cotto by the end of this year, instead we gotta wait till sometime middle 09 for this ****.

Because if Arum was serious about putting Cotto in with the best he would just have put Clottey vs Cintron on the undercard of Cotto - Margarito and the world would be a better place after the winners faced each other.

but I think that financially, for Arum, that wouldn't have made much sense. Arum is hoping that Marg can beat Cintron, then give Clottey his mando, and then the winner of Marg/Clottey he will probably want to face against Quintana (or the loser if he can get his way).

Cotto beat Quintana who beat Paul Williams who beat Antonio Margarito..So now that all the **** has hit the fan because of Quintana handily beating PW, How will Arum sell a ****ing fight with Margarito? Cotto doesn't have Floyd to fight right now, He doesn't have DLH to fight right now, He is obviously going to fight the winner of Cintronn/Margarito which isn't a disgrace. But what does that leave Cotto with before and after??? Well there you go ****ing Gomez and Mayorga as sacraficial lambs.
