    Cotto-Mayorga will happen.

    Cotto will beat Gomez.

Margo or Cintron winner will be forced to defend against a mando (Clottey) before fighting anyone else.

actually if he unifies before the mandatory date then he becomes WBA super champ and is automatically exempted from fighting WBA mandatories

Until that happens, it makes no sense for you to lay criticism based on your theories instead of reality.

What theories? The fact that Arum for some reason refused to make Cintron-Cotto. And said it himself. Top Rank would not go through with any other fight other than Clottey-Cintron because of Clotteys mando. (Due later this year)

Yet he makes Cintron-Margo. Leaving Clottey in the dust.

Here is the reality. Arum claims that Cotto will fight the winner of Cintron/Margo in July. He also claims the fight with Mayorga will happen in the fall unless the Cintron/Margo winner is unavailable in July. Until he says otherwise, or until another fight is officially announced, all you have is theories.

Paul Williams losign to Quintana has everything to do with this thread. Maybe Cotto vs Williams would have been a possibility if he wouldn't have gotten his ass kicked by Quintana. Its ironic to see a big PW fan as yourself calling Gomez and Mayorga a disgrace when your man PW just lost....I mean completely schooled by a B caliber fighter in Quintana. Don't come over here saying PW has nothing to do with this, He was an option for Cotto - he just got exposed and now he isn't an option anymore so gtfo of here saying Cotto's options are a disgrace...Cotto is simply in a gay ass position right now!!!

Stop being stupid. Number 1, this is a blatant red herring that has no bearing on my previous post. Number 2, do you have any proof that shows that Margo-Gomez did not do 100k ppv buys?

Arums Top Rank PPV was a publically released number. It did around 25k buys. I'll have to find the link for you.

with the expection of name calling and Williams being "exposed"...and Quintana being a B Caliber fighter....and that he was schooled....will not much left in this.....HOWEVER!

I agree with the fact that Cotto dosent have alot of options...why not fight a big strong puncher like Mayorga?....he's not great but it'll be a good fight while he's waiting.

I think when PBF fights, the only way for the fight to be exciting is that if he actually has a chance of loosing as the action sure as hell wont be. With Cotto, even though you know hes gonna win, the action is atleast there to look forward to.

Anyways Mayorga is naturally bigger than Cotto and after blowing up that much for Vargas, dont think he can get down to 147 without hurting himself. Either way, stylistically Mayorga may have a good chance here. The power to hurt Cotto and the toughness/size to take his punches.
