Margo would kick the **** out of Hatton. DLH isn't that big of a threat anymore, either.

You add nothing to this forum.

    You somehow missed this?

    Floyd no fanbase?

Why did Oscar - Tito IN THEIR PRIMES UNDEFEATED do a mere 1 MILLION LESS.

    Oscar-Tito did 1 MILLION LESS

Than Floyd-DLH. I guess Floyd has 0 Fanbase and Oscar did that extra 1 million out of nowhere.

Everybody was saying that junior witter would beat hatton, hatton is ducking him ect.. and look what happened?

There no point in all these cotto fans going crazy sayin cotto beats mayweather and mayweather is ducking him because he still has to get past margo first.

Although cotto is a good fighter and could give mayweather a good fight, i think people here are taking it a little to far just beacause of their hate for mayweather, same as hatton/witter.

I got no doubt in my mind, mayweather will fight the cotto/margo winner in 2009 or december 2008 if we are lucky.

DLH and hatton are still great fighters. The general public want to see big fights with boxers they know, mayweather vs hatton/DLH would be good for boxing, it generates lots of intrest and which keeps boxing alive, but if cotto is the best fighter in the division, theres NO WAY mayweather wont get round to fighting him.

You claimed that Floyd never showed any interest in fighting Shane Mosley. Despite this, there's a video where Floyd's father/ former manager states that Floyd laid down a couple of challenges to Shane in the past. I also posted an article that state negotiations had taken place regarding a potential Floyd/Shane fight, and that purse figures had even been discussed. Why would there be negotiations regarding a fight between the two if Floyd never showed any interest in fighting Shane?

The fact of the matter is, your original statement was full of speculation. You simply made up a statement that you couldn't back up. When presented with evidence that shows that you didn't know what you were talking about, you start spouting double talk about instead of admitting that you made an incaccurate statement.

Mayweather was a proven commodity and superstar in the sport the year that Cotto made his debut. When Cotto was entering the pro ranks, Mayweather was beating future HOF'ers in Castillo and Corrales.

Cotto is now doing the same to stamp his own mark on the sport, and as he continues beating top level competition, the bout between Mayweather and Cotto will only grow in stature.

Expect it in late 2009 if Cotto defeats Margarito.

Imjust asking because Cotto is getting credit for summin Floyd has already done.....

Everyone agrees Floyds best weight was 135 where he fought everyone.

147 is Cotto's best weight so he is supposed to be doing this...fighting everyone....plus floyd has been pro fighting longer than Cotto.

All im saying is people get on Floyd for not fighting everyone in 147 and amping Cotto for it but 147 is NOT is best weight and in his best weight he paid his dues fought everyone...he even moved up all the way to 154 beating world class fighters be it a or b class whatever you want to call i but the fact is its not easy.......this is not a knock on Cotto but he is not skilled enough to jump that many weight classes so he has no choice but to clean out 147...he aint goin up to 154....if the money was right floyd would be there as he did against a game ODLH not prime but game because he destroyed his last fighter before Floyd and all i heard was Oscar looks real good.

All im sayin is Floyd has payed his dues he deserves to pick and choose his apy days and to be honest latley he has given us HUGE fights the numbers dont lie. We all know if Cotto beats Margo the biggest fight out there in any weight is them two.....as money driven as Floyd is even the haters know he would be all over that fight. i mean he isnt even fightin warm up fights against anyone he just fights foe the big money and Cotto is really all thats left.....However i got a quick question people blame Hatton getting whooped on the weight i bet everyone still tunes in if its at 140....thus another big payday....no one on this sight would turn these numbers down...as a fan do i want to see Oscar or Hatton fukk no...but i wont start bashing the man for doing what any logical person would do and thats get the pay day......Believe it or not SRR was a bull when it came to his money why you think he fought sooooo much....its a fact he was very money driven....now think about if he fought in todays era where Millions are made...please.....im not saying he will have a resume like Floyd but i think he follows the money.

I agree with you. I never heard about any negotiation between these
two fighters. I withdraw my statement about PBF not having shown interest in fighting Mosley since it is inaccurate. By the way, you did
a great job in finding these information. Thanks for it.

    Are you a ****in ******?

IT WAS DIFFERENT BECAUSE HATTON'S WEIGHT, THE NIGHT OF THE FIGHT, WAS THE SAME WEIGHT OF HIS 140 FIGHTS. HE WASN'T CARRYING THE EXTRA WEIGHT HE CARRIED IN THE COLLAZO FIGHT.

A PBF-Hatton rematch would be the most worthless rematch in a big main event PPV match since DLH-Chavez 2.

At least PBF-DLH was fairly close.

I pray this fight doesn't materialize.
