You Moron....provide a link when he has complained!!!

Cotto accepted his asskicking without any excuses.

The one complaining is Geale and Shaw only then for the first time did you ever hear Cotto mention this of which he said that he agreed to a Catchweight against Manny so Geale should honor his contract.

For those who said the few pounds difference against Manny didn't matter and are complaining now...!!!
    You Damn Morons!!!

AFTER a tick over 24 hours without any food whatsoever, Daniel Geale has hit correct weight for tomorrow’s showdown with WBC middleweight world champion Miguel Cotto.

While Geale was perfectly-weighted at 157 pounds or 71.2kgs, world champion Cotto opted to come in significantly lighter at 153.6 pounds or 69.8kgs.

Three-time world champion Geale was forced to tip the scales at the lightest he’s ever weighed-in at, spending the final 36 hours on a diet of hot baths with Epsom salts, chewing gum, limited food and only small sips of water.

So it's you that should stfu :hi:

Cotto refuses to fight an opponent if he is 100% fit he only wants cripples to beat on. Needs to pull up his Pink big girl panties & try to be a man:patsch

Blah, Blah, Blah! Cotto is a businessman. He clearly showed today he isn't a 160 pounder. He is fighting guys that are bigger than him. He makes good fights. YOU GUYS WASTE YOUR TIME THINKING ABOUT BELTS!!! Is not Cotto's fault there 100 different belts running around. He didn't invented the belts.

Why is Cotto, a obvious 154pounder so wrong for fighting Geale??? I don't remember anyone complaining when GGG fought him.

May be fighting a guy that GGG fought is Cotto's way of creating more interest on the fight. As good as GGG is, his fan base isn't very big.

If Cotto looks good tomorrow it will create more interest

100 belts around and Cotto still had to modify the weight limit for this one to suit himself.

Organisations should ensure the integrity and history of their belts by insisting the designated weight limits are adhered to.

Big Geale fan but this is the only way he could get this opportunity and payday. Hopefully he does to Cotto what Hopkins did to Oscar at the catchweight.:good

Accepting the 157 pound limit was the only way Geale was going to get the fight. I agree. But it shouldn't be the case. It's a middleweight title and Geale is a middleweight fighter who should be entitled to fight at the 160 pound middleweight limit.

Organisations should ensure the integrity and tradition of their belts by insisting the designated weight limits are adhered to. The WBC are one of the oldest organisations. Steeped in tradition, and shouldn't be allowing this garbage on their watch.

Next thing we'll have reigning champions attempting to change the number of rounds. Or the duration of rounds

Dumb article with ****ty writers. Geale has won many regional titles at 154. He's even moved up to 168. Lol at lightest he's ever weighed.
