    10 mill is a bunch of money....:patsch What was Floyd pulling in per purse when he tried to first get Cotto in the ring. That's a more accurate guage. I'm sure you can find a youtube vid for that....:lol:

    Didn't read thread. Just wanted to give my opinion on the fight. I think these days Mayweather is too fast and too smart for Cotto to be competetive, with the latter being more important. It's a mismatch, and Cotto would probably only win some of the early rounds and that's about it. Wide Mayweather UD

    They never fought because, Bob Arum wanted to build up Cotto, if he put them together early, then Cotto wouldnt be where he is today. Plus Cotto was at the May/Gatti fight, and he didnt want any of that.

    You said he was slow and punch drunk. Again, Cotto hasn't shown sign's of either. And being slower then Pac or Mayweather doesn't make one slow.

    Again, the topic was cotto vs mayweather. Cotto's slow compared to mayweather ( berto, mosley, khan, Bradley, Alexander, all faster cotto is one of the slowest top fighters in the game) could have listed more but typing on phone so it's hard anyway, cotto punch resistance is down. Proof check the fight against yuri. Yuri hurt him with a least three right hands.
