nice first post. this fight proved nothing of the sort. even before this fight most knowledgable fight fans felt cotto was the real fight. its like floyd fought the #4 ranked welter in the world when cotto is ranked #1. but you feel beating #4 proves that he can beat #1. it doesnt work that way.

Cotto has a better chin than Hatton at 147. Hatton was out on his feet and arguably dropped by Collazo. And tonight, he was knocked out by Mayweather. Cotto was rocked by Judah, but was able to take punches from Quintana and Mosley. At 140, this is a different story, but at 147, Cotto is MUCH, MUCH better than Hatton.
I think this is a 50/50 fight. Cotto by late stoppage, or pbf by ud. I would definitely be rooting for my boy Miguel. pbf has to either fight Cotto and Williams, or retire in disgrace.
