It's a very very high estimate. Floyd said he's expecting to get 70-60 million

It's amazing how much money fighters make once Arum is out of the picture.

He will, maybe a little more milder, or watered down, but he will its part of of the promotion and hype....If he doesn't trash talk Cotto, he will trash talk his dad or something, rest assured 24/7 will not disappoint with Money May...

A news paper in Puerto Rico (elnuevodia) said that Cotto is getting 12 millions not counting the PPV earns. Maybe will get close to 20 millions counting everything.

i agree that its nothing important but to answer your question this is probably the max they're expecting to make it will probably be less but more than 15 million considering he is now a free agent, the may 5th date and this being a fight between the #1 and #3 ppv stars

    Which is great news.

What most losers don't understand in this thread with comments like "Who cares" and "*****s" is that the more money Cotto makes the more motivated he is. Then again I don't expect losers to know anything about money.

Cotto never said he would take home $30mil. If Cotto promotions gets 35% of the gross revenues of the fight, before expenses his take of $100mil would be $35mil.

How much of that goes towards expenses and taxes will determine his total take home pay.

That news is probably circulated by the same group of *****s who said Floyd-Martinez is almost a done deal.

Floyd isn't getting 60M and Cotto isn't getting 30M. People are talking **** when neither of them know how much they will be making. They will divide the percentage of whatever they sell in tickets and PPV. There is no way to know. All people can do is try to guess
