If anybody has the time to search the boards, I am sure there are threads like this for Pac-Hatton and Pac-DLH as well.

At a catchweight, you conveniently left that part out.

Cotto was horrendously drained...having to weigh in 2lbs under 147lbs.

    ...Give me a break. :good

No. He is angry because Pac asked Cotto to just go down 2 pounds below the limit of welterweight, and not 2 divisions higher which is greater in glory or significance as long as it is against a pound for pound number 2.

He hates because Cotto is 29 years old instead of 39 years old, which is actually the prime age if you are fighting Gayweather.

as you seem to be forgetting that Cotto weighed 146 lbs when he fought Clottey, so you really think that he was weight drained at 145?

People forget Cotto was a Jr Welter who was forced to move up to 147 because he was finding it difficult to make the 140 limit without killing himself. He was not a full-fledged welter, and even weighed in at just 146 for the Clottey fight. He would've made 145 comfortably. I don't think the catchweight had any effect on him. He would still have hydrated back to what he usually did. This was a great victory for Pac.

Nice to see the original poster was more than happy to come back and gloat if things went well (the guy clearly said he would), yet after the loss was nowhere to be seen.

I too thought Cotto would beat Pac, so much so a bit of a flutter was had, especially considering the odds you could get on Cotto. last time I bet against Manny, he's a little beast, the win was just so convincing.
