Both those men left something in the ring 3yrs ago and this fight comes down to who left the more vital attributes. Margo was determined to win at all odds and he seemingly sold his soul to the devil that night watching him for the first half of the fight he appeared absolutely frustrated and full of anxiety, Cotto gleamed a sense of cool but his confidence turned out to be his main killer. Cotto then beaten to submission and Margo the winner who sacraficed too much physically for this triumph which is on of his, if not his greatest victory.

There's a lot of manufactured animosity in these faceoffs. With this one though, it seems genuine. This migh be the best one since Hopkins/Pascal.

 

I wish they would knock the hell out of tha punk kellerman.

 

Is it just me or on that exchange it seems Margarito is convinced he's going to beat Cotto again. Presumably because he knows plaster doesn't have anything to with it. And that notion got into Cotto's head.

 

When I watched it, I got the sense that it's almost false confidence, like he's trying to appear that he knows plaster wraps weren't the reason he won last time. He's barking awful loud for a guy who thinks it's in the bag, esp. considering he's not usually a barker.

Just my take.

 

I rank Cotto as better than Margarito, but the style matchup and size favors Margarito.

 

Cotto will find justice and redemption in that ring with Tony. Cotto UD.

 

I think Tony might stop Cotto again on late rounds. I am not sure though. It looks like Margarito is more damaged of these two having more career shortening wars. It will be absolute war thou:thumbsup
