Boxing? Who said anything about boxing? You're talking about people making a financial transaction for an event. You're not talking about the fight at all. The fact that these threads have been going on for a long time is a sad incitement of modern fans. I mean, why does anyone give a slingle **** how many PPV buys this gets? Or any fight for this matter. If its gets 400k or 700k...what single difference does it make to any of you supposed boxing fans?
They need to know who to like!!! How are they gonna know who's good if they don't know the ppv numbers?!?!?! Dummy. Come on man. Don't u know how this works?!? If your not popular u aren't worth the time. It's 2014, get a clue. This is a business. Floyd taught us that and he's the best ever. Go to one of those corny threads that tslk about punching and footwork and all that crap.
Like it or not, boxing is a business. If we want to keep the sport alive and growing we need people to watch and PAY. It's basic supply and demand. If the demand is high we will be supplied with good fights. If there is no demand, well, we all know what will happen. I want boxing to grow and I want big fights made. PPV is a big part of the equation.
