    things are not looking good for cotto before the weigh in i had it 60-40 to martinez winning now im convinced martinez wins ......

    not a bad move imo....keep his speed and wont gas out as much from the extra weight..

    Cottot's best years are way behind him, but it seems as is Martinez's. That being said, I'll stick with an old adage here: A good big man beats a good little man.

    I think what it really shows is that Cotto did not put on any dumb weight, only smart weight. eg. a bit more muscle and leaned out. He didn't go full Vargas and roid the fuk out.

    that's how I see it as well. I think he will give Martinez a run for his money, maybe even pull if off. I just hope for a good fight.

    I agree. I wouldn't give Cotto a better chance if he was 5lb heavier.

    Martinez has fought bigger, slower, opponents.... Martinez has not fought a strong, smaller, faster opponent in a long time. Speed will be a factor in this fight, Sergio will get hit like he hasn't in a long time. He may still win but this will not be an easy fight for either fighter....
