..but cotto did say that he is not willing to die in a fight to get the win.

Even after the fight when asked about the weight....he said the weight had no effect on his performance...months afterwards he said the exact same thing when the topic was brought up. He gave PAC his props.

it wasn't until the promotion of the Floyd vs Cotto fight that Cotto switched gears and hinted to the weight as the reason he lost to Manny.

That don't think that was a comment Cotto made prior to this fight. I think that was before going into the rematch with Margo. Different mind set.

    That is true.

But could it be that he was still under Arum during that time and maybe Arum had asked him not to discredit Manny's victory in any way? You know, no taking the shine away from the Top Rank cash cow.
Cotto had already broken ties with Arum when he started promoting his fight against Floyd. Just something to think about.

I know what your saying Knuckle, but you have to realize how Freddy Roach will use "catchweights" to dibilitate opponents. I'm not saying Cotto would of won if it wasn't for those two pounds, but I can't say manny would of still got the win either.

We really can't say Dodong, After his TKO loss to Pac, his mind set could of changed. Certain fight have a way of changing a fighter perspective, you know.

I'm glad to see Cotto standing up for himself. Some people say thatvthe catch weight in there first fight didn't make that much of a difference. If that was the case, then why do it in the first place?

This goes to show that Pac's team are nothing but bitches and nothing they say can be taken seriously unless you crave being lied to. This is also a great indicator of who's more than likely killing the Floyd/Pac fight and I can assure you it aint Floyd prior to what haters claim they believe.

I'm a Cotto fan but the hypocrisy is baffling.

And I'm not inclined to defend or side with Margarito so I won't specify Cotto's transgression.

I would like to see/meet some of the ***gots on these boards who have the audacity to think they can scoop the **** of Pacquiiao. Bunch of ***gots and pussies.

With no evidence you claim a man cheats. With two equal partners entering into negotiations a smaller man fights a bigger man at a more favorable catchweight to the bigger man.

Whining pussies and ***gots on this site whining about Pacquiao, Martinez, Ward, Klitschkos. It's ****ing dick envy. It can't be that other human beings are so much better than you are, it has to be "cheating" or "catchweights" or some other pussified, ******-filled answer that makes you feewel all good inside.

It's too bad Floyd Mayweather isn't gay; he might get more ***** than anybody in history. He could work his way through the sluts on this board, that's for sure.

Could it be because he was under Arum the entire time? Floyd fight doesn't have **** to do with Cotto now and he's still saying the same thing about the Pac catch-weight.

Even after he split with Bob Miguel didn't come out and say anything about the weight. It wasnt until he began promoting the fight.
