I truly hope Cotto doesn't believe that. If he prepared for such a fighter he's going to have a very short and punishing night. I hope it's just retaliation for the words that Roach has thrown Cotto's way.

I don't think that is Fair at all.....Cotto is not a quitter. He did a very good job w/Tony. He just had enough and took A LOT of punishment. There was no "quit" in that fight. He just had nothing left and Marg couldn't KO cotto to end the punishment. Sure he had a Round left but it would have just been more of the same....no need to risk your life.

the 2 pounds mean nothing in this fight given the fact Cotto is going to have a signifigant size and weight advantage on fight night. The Wars Cotto has encountered in his career has made him even better. This is going to be the very best Miguel against the very best PAC and the best man will win....no excuses. IT's not a good look to make excues for warriors brah.

 It's a recipe for getting it raw without vasaline if he expects to face the version of PAC that was 10+ yrs ago. Cotto isn't that stupid.....give the man a little more credit than that Nall.:rofl Cotto will have a good Game plan...so will PAC. It's going to come down to Size, Power and strength...vs Speed, talent and agility. Good even match but at the end of the day it's a fight between a Great little man vs a very good and solid BIG MAN.

 Fundamentally there is nothing the same about PAC from his fights with JMM, MAB and EM. he's definitley evolved. And I HOPE that was just a comment to hit Roach and not what he believes and has trained for. If he trained for that PAC...he's doesn't have much of a chance. But Cotto is intelligent and I know he's not preparing for a PAC no one has seen for a few years now.

what smack has cotto been talking? hes been responding to the smack said about him from the pacquiao camp...and what makes you think Pacquiao could put cotto on his ass if Judah, Mosley, Clottey, Margarito (albeit he went down on his own accord through an ACCUMULATION of punishment) or Quintana couldnt do it?

Pacquiao to Hatton " Nothing personal, I'm just doing my job." I think this will apply to Cotto as well. We will see a juggernaut in Pacquiao on Nov. 14. I feel this fight can go either way but I also see a Pacman storm of destruction.
