There's a reason why Pac's camp have asked multiple times to multiple fighters for catchweight fights, or fights outside their current weight.

How do you defend Pac asking:

Mosley to come down to 142, yet fighting Oscar at 147?

Cotto to come down to 145 yet fighting Clottey at 147?

Asking Bradley to come up to 147 yet fighting Marquez at 144?

Asking Cotto to come down to 147 yet fighting Margarito at 150?

How can you honestly consider Pac a 154 champ, when he's only fought at Jr. MW once against an unranked fighter, Pac himself wasn't ranked, and never intended to defend his 154 title?

The Pac train is full of bull****.

Bazooka, there is EIGHT different documented attempts at getting fighters to move down or up in weight to cater to Pac's demands. It is bull**** Bazooka, EIGHT different times, with ZERO consistancy!

Move up to 144 from 140.
Move up to 147 from 140.
Move down from 154 to 147.
Move down from 147 to 145.
Move down from 154 to 150.
Move down from 147 to 142.
Move down from 135 to 130.
Move down from 154 to 147.

Come on, how can you defend that ****? It's not even about where Pac is most comfortable, its trying to make his opponent less comfortable by taking things away from them through these ****ing weight clauses.

There is a well known video at Wild Card Gym where the conversation goes down for everyone to see.

Mosley said he wanted to fight Pac.

    Team Pac said 142.

Mosley said "but you just fought Oscar at 147."

Roach said "but you're not Oscar." (implying skill and drawing power, I'd imagine)

Not on camera, is the supposed accepting of the 142 lb. catchweight by Mosley. They didn't fight for another 2 years.

Lacne, once again, shows his #1 and only agenda on these forums and looks like a stubborn fool. Also, the sun rose from the East this morning.

    He wasn't "planning to."

    He was contractually obligated.

There is somewhat of a difference.

Damn dude, who gives a **** about the attempts to drain a fighter. Those fights never happened. Zero impact on history or legacy. None. Leave the Mosley thing alone with the weight. People use double standards by saying "fighter X waited for fighter Y to get old" but can't be consistent in when they use their logic. That is there fault. 25 years from now, the new crop of fans and writers, they'll sift through the garbage just fine.

Now if you want to talk about the fights that actually went down, then yes, there is no world class fighter in history who comes close to using weight to his advantage as the Great Manny Pacquiao.

So what when your the star thats what happens, and about calling him champ he was a champion at 154, as was Floyd who won his 1st title at 154 and went right back down to welter afterwards.

And asking Cotto to come down to 47 I thought it was 150..... but hey either way if Cotto wants to avenge that loss those are the terms deal with it or kick rocks

Unless your a Pacturd, its quite clear that, above 135, when team Pac is up against top level competition there has been a catchweight request. Yet when the competitor appeared to be subpar, there were no qualms about fighting at the division limits. Fighter of the decade my ass. SMFH
