Clottey starts out well usually but loses steam after 4 rounds or so similar to Judah. Cotto should be able to UD him if he applies the proper pressure and workrate like Margarito did. Clottey is also a big welter coming in at over 165+ lbs on fight night and has pretty fast hands so Cotto would do well to keep his guard up.

According to the PrettyBoyz...Floyd doesn't ever have to do anything @ 147 or fighting any top contenders...he'll always be the man in their eyes.:love

You should of said Cotto would become the man if he fought those 4 fighters instead of just naming Clottey you ****ing ******.

Clottey lost to Margo and if Cotto beats him all of sudden hes the man?

Floyd has beat Baldomir(Lineal Champ),Judah,Mitchell and Hatton.

Cotto beat Quitana,Urkal, Judah (after Mayweather), and Mosley.

So far, Cotto would still need to beat Floyd if he beat Clottey.

If Floyd does NOTHING for the next year while Cotto beats Williams, Clottey, etc etc. He will then become the man but as of right now. Floyd has done more and beat the man who beat the man etc. Floyd is the man of the division and Cotto has to do a lot to overtake it from him. But the best way to do it, is to fight Floyd.

A tough fight for both . . . but I'll stick with Cotto. And not a bad fight either, Clottey is a rated opponent.

Judah had not won in 2 years. Mayweathers win over Judah is FAR better then Cottos. Mitchell is better Urkal.

Hatton is a better win then Shane. Shane is old. Cotto will never get credit from me for struggling with Shane. I scored it for Shane the last time I watched it.

Its a good mandatory fight where the challenger actually has a decent chance and earned his shot unlike that crappy madatory in Urkal this year.

Mosley has been old, Ive said it BEFORE the Cotto fight.

Hatton tried to fight Collazo weighing 160 on fight night. He probably wouldn't of struggled near as much if he weighed 154. A faster more active Hatton would of beat Collazo. He KDed him early, he would of kept a better pace throughout the fight.

Cotto needed to low blow Judah to not be KOed. He pulled a Trinidad.

Floyd is the man at welterweight. Deal with it. Cotto needs to beat Mayweather, which he can't.

Only you and Orishman think Cotto becomes the man at Welterweight by fighting Clottey.

Cotto won't ever be the man at 147. Deal with it.

By Cotto beating Clottey does not make him the man at 147.

I just dont see what Cotto has to gain from fighting Clottey, its high risk low reward, It makes more sense to fight DLH but only at 147 and not a pound more. Of course DLH will want everything in his favor. Margarito is another option.

Good match up, I'll take Cotto to win it.
