I see Cotto winning by KO at 147 and by UD at 140. Hatton would put up a spirited fight and have his moments especially at 140, but I still feel Cotto would be too much for him

I think people's assessments of Hatton are a bit biased by his last two fights.

I would have said Cotto vs Pre-Mayweather, but didn't want to as I do want to see this fight happen in the next two years.

But I do not think that Hatton will ever be the same fighter that he was, especially after Pacquiao, even if he does return.

    147 Cotto takes this

Would have loved to have seen it at 140 and would have been a close one around 2006-7 time, probably still give Cotto the nod, but was a bit chinnier at LWW so you never know Hatton had some relentless attack back then and Cotto never the greatest off the back foot. Couldn't see it going the distance

at 147, like most I pick Cotto. At 140 , Hatton would be the favorite, but I think it would be FOTY candidate and a toss up.

Hatton has never been in Cotto's league. This fight is a mismatch at any point in their careers.
