I just dont think cotto can beat margarito, possibly by decision but i cant see it going any other way than it did on saturday, he cant hurt him..

Cotto was very elusive and he wasn't getting picked apart. Marg was using pressure and missing alot, but what was catching him was doing the job. Cotto most diffinitely needed to work the body and use his movement. Fighting against the ropes was the worse thing he did and I believe is what truly caused his demise. I see a trilogy. Cotto can come back with a better game plan.

He does not need to hurt him. He needs to slow him down with body shots and not stand on ropes a a heavybag. It looked like he was probably saying to himself, "I can take these punches", but then the punches never ceased. Well, as I am trying to defend Cotto, what if the verdict was differenct? Marg was the better man that night and I for one was humbled. I just hope Cotto recovers fully and fights another day.

This is where Margarito's underrated defense comes into play.

Look at the way Margarito protects his body . That was one of the reasons Cotto was not having any effect in this department. Also, Cotto had no choice but to fight off the ropes, Margarito's pressure was relentless.

Cotto has the tools to beat margo that we know, stamina and and a few defensive skills like tying a man up spinnning off the ropes....stamina and Cotto beats him. But he must want it more than anything in his soul. Margo may have broken his spirit depending on how Cotto feels in his heart after he comes to terms with the loss.

Most men and most warriors ultimarely have a loss its the consequence of competition. Some men dont come back. Its a very personal thing. Cowardice or guts doesnt have a thing to do with it. It is just something in your soul that says I could have done better.

Man I hope so. Cotto could win if he learned how to hit and hold. Lower Margaritos punch output. Clinch Clinch!

    Body shots body shots!

I really don't want to see a rematch between Cotto and Margo, Tony is just too big for him.

Let's talk of a rematch first . . . and depending on the results then a possible trilogy.
