Not quite sure why anyone wouldn't want to see this fight. Outside of Pacquiao or Martinez, Cotto v Mayweather is the most intriguing fight that can be made.
Mayweather would get zero credit for this fight. Especially from the people in this thread claiming it's the hardest fight for him, their stances will change to Cotto's shot which he kinda is, and Cotto already got beat down by Pac (which he did). Cotto's a mental midget and jus cannot hang with elite level fighters, it's a horrible mismatch. Bring on Martinez or Pac....even Khans far better than Cotto at this point.
I agree completely except for the Khan part. Khan has no business being mentioned with the likes of Mayweather, Martinez, Pac, and Cotto.

It's mostly Floyd's fans who like to claim Cotto is an overrated or average fighter and damaged goods, all to degrade Pacquiao's win over him. Many also like to claim his 154 credentials are weak and no proof that he's an elite fighter or isn't shot. One great thing about this fight, other than Cotto getting his chance to redeem his entire career and shut these ****s up for good, they also have to STFU with all the garbage above if they want to give Mayweather any credit for this fight.
