Canelo should get 3 or 4 million dollars to fight on Floyds card! He's a huge draw.. Especially in the Mexican community! Void is using him to get PPV buys..

Usually agre with your posts, not even close to the same page. Cotto's following will be stronger than ever, especially after the last HBO 24/7 series. I'm thinking 1.5 atleast, Pac vs Bradley, seriously... I think his last performances have hurt his appeal, and he's fighting Bradley... which may just barely break 1 mill.

This should be a good bump.

You have the consistent #1 and #3 in terms of PPV sales in the same ring, and you say it won't sell...yet you can justify Bradley (who is not known)/Pacquiao selling more? Granted Pacquiao can sell a PPV by himself, but so can Mayweather...throw Cotto in to the mix.

Let me guess, you think anything less than 1 million buys "doesn't sell", right?

its got nothing to do with + or minus million sells, its got to do with "interest" in the fight.

People smell the BS on what Mayweather gives to the public. The demand for this fight lost its luster long time ago.

And I do admit I got my Pacquiao colored glasses on. Am I hating? Absolutely. It won't be as big as people put it out to be.

There is plenty of interest in the bout already over here in the UK, and that's saying something. Not in terms of media coverage yet, but in terms of fans, and casual fans. These type of bouts always build up, especially when 24/7 hits the screens. This bout will do at least 1 million buys, that is successful...ignore all the crap that GBP will spew, "This will be the biggest PPV ever", etc...it just won't, but it will be very successful.

The angle is interesting aswell, there are numerous angles they could lead with during 24/7 actually. Did Mayweather avoid Cotto in 2008? Cotto is on a high, can he keep it up and upset Mayweather? Mayweather's last bout. Mayweather will have plenty of digs at Arum in this one aswell. Etc, etc.

DobyZhee a dumbass fanboy. Pacquiao-Bradley will barely outsell Mayweather-Cotto in the Phillipines.

That's cause your fighters suck. So naturally, UK fans follow fighters that win.:good

Boxing has generally done well in the UK but the demographic for this fight will have nothing to do with who the UK fans will follow.

Nah man, it will sell. Casual fans aren't ******s like those Mayweather fans who love labelling fighters leftovers. If there is a big fight between two popular fighters, they will more than likely buy it in droves.

Plus this is probably Cotto's last chance to become a great, and coming after the much hyped Margarito fight which did 600K buys, the most he's ever done as an A-side. Puerto Ricans are going to support him like they never have before. I say it does 1.5M.

It's Floyd's fans who you'd think might not be buying it, seeing as many of them consider Cotto as an average fighter and a hype job. But they buy everything Mayweather puts out, so that shouldn't be much of a problem.
