A very competitive fight, given Cotto unleashes his usual effective body attacks and doesn't remain stationnary against Mayweather.
cotto on a split decision. he has a better jab than dlh at this point and would floyd eating jabs all night. he'd force floyd into a slugging match and i doublt floyd would have miguel against the ropes but vice versa. floyd would land clean rights, but he'd also take some massive left hooks. cotto would follow oscars gameplan and finish it off. oscar and cotto are both really left handers that fight orthodox. floyd's right hand is the only threat i see to cotto.

mayweather would win the fight. then he would be called a cherry picker because he has already been defeated by margarito. but all the way until the fight is over people would be saying that cotto is going to destroy floyd. just the way it has been in all of his fights. soon as its over it would be on hear that the real fight was williams or margarito or even clottey.
mayweather wide ud. mayweather beats anybody right now from feather to welter. only guy i can see givin mayweather trouble is williams. tall, rangy, large volume of punches.
I see your point Kmac,Cotto would be viewed as damaged goods after the Margo Fight. I DO think that it would have been seen as as great win prior to that though.:good
