so what if roach thinks that marquez was a walk in the park for pac? the fact was, marquez has been the most avoided featherweight champion back then. hamed and barrera would not fight him. he has guys like peden and medina on his resume which are both good featherweght champs. not stunning resume back then but we all know now what marquez was capable of. only idiots would think that marquez was a tune-up fight for pac.
the little guy... Hard to root against Cotto. He handles himself well. Doesn't talk trash. Handles himself like a professional. I just hope neither one gets permanently damaged.
I like both of them... I would just be rooting for a great fight that enhances both of thier legacies. If Pac should win this fight... WOW!!!!
I've seen a lot of mix feelings posts . . . same here because I'm a fan of both . . . but I'll be rooting for the small guy who's trying to make history. So . . . go Pac! If Cotto beats him . . . so be it . . . that's life . . . we cannot win them all. :cry:
I think the things that people thought would give Hatton the advantage in his fight against Pac (bullying, strength, body punching, more power etc) are actually going to apply to Cotto in this case. I'm a big fan of Cotto and Pac and I am real excited to see this match up. I want to see how Pac stands up to a big punch from a big WW. It's going to be a great fight.
Very difficult to choose as, along with Donaire, these are my favourite fighters. I went with Pacquiao as I think it is unlikely we will see someone do what he has done ever again.
