Hatton has never been known to be a dull fighter, why would Cotto-Pacquiao be "far more exciting" than Cotto-Hatton? Cotto-Hatton has already been hugely anticipated since the days when Cotto still roamed the light welterweight ranks.

Cotto/Hatton would be a good fight I think their styles would blend nicely for an exciting fight.Cotto may be too strong for Hatton and would probably win a late TKO.I don't think Pac/Cotto will happen Arum said so aswell after the Pac/Diaz fight

Coto would never make 140 - I'm not sure Hatton would go to 147, especially as he would be holding all the cards should he beat pac.

I think he would if the $$ was right. This fight won't happen at any weight below 147 for sure.

Cotto wouldn't go down to 140 for this fight. Chances are Hatton would go up to 147 and Pac would probably meet him at some sort of catchweight.

You're correct in that....he called out Clottey, Mosley and Berto.

He fought Oscar at 147,although DLH was coming down.I don't think Cotto would come down any further than 147,maybe for the Pac which I can't see happening

Pacquiao is the most exciting fighter in boxing today. Never did I mention Hatton as being dull, but to believe his style is visually more pleasing than Pacquiao's is plain bias. That's why I believe that matching him with Cotto will produce a "far more exciting" fight. Ricky "Clinch" Hatton would give Cotto a run for his money but that potential fight is beneath Pacquiao/Cotto, in my opinion.

I don't see the Pac/Hatton winner being Cotto's next fight because it would mean he wouldn't fight again until August or September at the earliest. It's obvious that a June fight is Top Rank's aim right now so logically Mosley, Clottey, Berto, and Cintron will all get real consideration.

Good point I think it'll be closer to Christmas than that so it would be conditional on the outcome of Cottos fight in June

I want to see Cotto-Hatton more as I dont want my two favourite fighters duking it out just yet.

That would be a great battle..one I would be very confident of Miguel winning at welter. It would be a fight to get excited about, with certainly some closely fought and high paced rounds.

But Hatton can certainly be a dull fighter with his huggy bear antics.

After losing to a plain fighter in Margo, Cotto's stock, and value (rightly or wrongly) on the market is not what it was (at the mo').

Still a good fighter no doubts though...

    I'd like to see Hatton/Cotto
