From being pounds lighter from the required limit?

Just say the fight is BULLSH*T. But dissing Pacquiao for fighting pounds lighter than the limit is just pure pac-hate.

Remember he wanted Shane at 142,then only fights him after Floyd and after Shane had one of his worst performances after that..

Pac also wanted 142 vs Cotto. Just shows he and his camp weren't confident fighting a strong welter yet going up from the Hatton fight weighing 138lbs. Mosley was arguably the strongest at the weight having KO'd big JMWs and the manster Margarito. Pac went from SFW to WW in less than a year before that. Why do you clowns ignore that? Cotto was the better fighter than Mosley anyway, a bigger draw, had recently beaten Mosley, and was younger than Mosley by 8-9 years. Cotto could also make the catchweight easier than Mosley who hadn't fought below 146 in 10 years. Cotto was the logical fight to test the waters. Afterwards Mosley signed to fight Berto and the strongest guy available when Mayweather negotiations broke down was Clottey, who many argued beat Cotto so that was a logical fight too, and who Pac fought at the limit

dont get why clowns are complaining about Pac demanding 147 for a fight none of us want to see. if Cotto has principles and isnt just in it for the money and being Arum's sacrificial lamb, then he rejects the fight

    money talks, we shall see

Pac needs to stand his ground and stop fighting above his best weight limit

 at Cotto being drained at a weight he never once had problems making. This fight shouldn't happen at any weight because it'd just be a repeat of the first fight, but Cotto's not going to sacrifice anything to get down to 147. FFS people.

Why don't you ask Cotto why he feels he needs a weight advantage against a guy who's barely big enough for welterweight. 147 is a fair compromise, although I don't care to see this fight anyway.

if Koncz is holding a gun to Cotto's head while he's signing a contract to fight Pac at 147, then Pac would lose me as a fan.

The fight should be at 154 for Cotto's belt no exceptions. Pac made him come down in weight last time, no reason he can't come up in weight now. I'm so ****ing tired of this ****...

It should be at 154. Problem is Pacquiao is not the one who wants or needs this fight. Why should he? He already beat Cotto thoroughly and convincingly. Pacquiao also said he preferred not to fight outside his weight class again after the hurting Margarito's punches put on him at 150 where he weighed 6lbs under. Cotto will have to go down if he wants it unfortunately for him. If he had a Ring belt to entice Pacquiao to fight at JMW again for another lineal title it would help his chances.
