    As good a prospect as Canelo is, he isn't ready for Cotto, Pac, Floyd or Martinez...in all four instances he gets ktfo!!! Cummon man wtf is up with this board, url know full well that even Saul beating Margo @ this stage is not a given!!!

    Larry you are so anxious about Floyd fighting anybody other than Baldomir that you are resorting to trying to discredit Cotto so as to remove him from the equation. I am sad for you as a fan that you are reduced to having Canelo fight for Floyd.


    A real fan wants to see every fight possible. The boxing public was calling for Cotto V Floyd for YEARS now and better late than never.

    Something about the PR swag that makes haters out of so many bitter men from all walks. Cotto has given a lot to the sport. The hate is rooted in envy.

    Canelo, while promising, hasn't proven **** yet. At that point in Cotto's career, he was KOing everyone in sight too. No comparisons can even be made until this guy faces some higher quality fighters. Until then you are majorly overrating him.

    And a lot of underrating Cotto here too, but that's typical. He at least worked his way up to get his shots at the top P4P guys.

    Cotto aint got **** on Canelo! Canelo has beaten the likes of the ATG Matthew Hatton who was ranked way up in the welterweight division, the young buck hungry lion Baldomir and the iron hearted Cintron! :hey

    Who has Cotto beaten that even compares?
