A foght with Floyd will always be boring and should never be named as "The fight of the Century"

Well looks like what I and others have predicted since Mayweather is dropping the belts he wants to line up Cotto for Sept 12th.

    It would screw over HBO

It would screw over DLH/Golden Boy

It would be for THE middleweight Championship

    Won't be easy for Mayweather

I want to see this bad. Floyd going for his 6th weight class.

they shouldn't take a win v geale for granted, although if, as is likely, it goes 12 expect a heavy bias for cotto on the cards.

    Did you actually watch Mayweather-Cotto??

    Did you watch the fight?

Not much running there, in fact it was quite action packed. Far from boring.

    Indeed

    That was a fun one

I expect a rematch to be better

or worse if you're Mayweather ha ha

I rate Cotto. He's a very good and strong willed boxer, and he really did best Mayweather with smarts and ring savvy in 2-3 rounds of their first fight, during middle-later rounds when Mayweather is supposed to have figured out his opponents. Cotto is bigger now and if he can pressure Floyd, then he might be able to make Floyd's age show. Mayweather did own Cotto for the first 5 rounds but then it got real interesting.

People say well Mayweather played to the fans and the crowd and didn't use his optimum tactics to win the fight. To an extent that's true, but watch round 6 — Mayweather was flat out outclassed in that round.

If it's at the full 160 limit, then yes. A Catchweight wouldn't be interesting to me personally.
