We say that now although I don't remember anyone saying that pre fight. Either way it has nothing to do with what I posted.
dont bother with these clowns acie these guys are jealous that ggg could only dream of having cottos resume and that cotto is a lock for the hof while ggg, despite being almost the same age, has a ways to go.....they are jealous that one of the best wins on gggs resume was easily dispatched in 4 rounds by cotto
In my eyes it doesn't count. Especially because Martinez clearly lost to Martin Murray and was well on the way down for the Cotto fight.
cotto-better resume than ggg(and we know gggs will never come close no matter how long he fights), alot closer to the hall of fame than ggg and about to make more money saturday night than ggg might make over his whole career....... id say cotto wins its cute how you had to say "all that mw resume" just to try to feel better....you realize cotto is a prime 140-147 fighter and that ggg has chased fights at 168 right? wow what a tough guy ggg is wanting to fight cotto!!! cottos career resume takes a huge steaming dump on gggs
Haha, I'm trying to make myself feel better? You're here harping on about resume when fact remains, your guy was scared to fight my guy for his title and dropped it like a little *****.
its hilarious to have watched 90 percent of the triple quack fanboys tell us for awhile now "ggg didnt wanna fight ward because its not enough money....its not good business move"......then when cotto is fighting canelo for wayyyy more money than hed get against ggg its "oh hes a coward"..... you guys sure have blurred the line between cowardice and smart business sense....ill tell ya that much
i harped on career resume....then you had to say "MW resume"...you must still be mad that cotto pasted one of gggs best wins in 4 rounds
If Cotto had defended his belt at 160 once then I would have called him a legit champ but he hadn't so yeah. He's a fraud.
Ah, so you're going to brag about how he beat one of GGG's best wins, good, but he didn't beat GGG did he? Do you really think the fact that he beat Geale somehow makes me angry when he himself showed just how good he thinks GGG is by backing out of the fight for his very own world championship belt rather than fight him?
By all accounts if WBC was willing to lower the fees he'd still have the title , so the dropping it to duck GGG doesn't really add up.
... and the guy who will beat him in 3 days is so afraid of Golovkin that he talks about being too small for 160.
i dont think you are angry....i think you twist arugments and go around in circles without saying anything again...cotto-140/147 prime fighter....ggg career 160 guy whos been recently chasing 168 fighters...they dont belong in ring together end of day-cottos resume is better, cottos career is more HOF worthy...and cotto will make more saturday night than ggg will prob make in his career(because ggg will prob be fighting for 2 mil a pop against bums on hbo for the remainder of it) like i said....when ggg ducked ward it was smart business.....when cotto fights canelo instead of ggg, for wayyy more money, its cowardice....you guys dont know where the line is.....its so blurred....you guys are so upset that your precious ggg has a resume that is considered a joke....and that cotto is a boss in the game of boxing.....its sad.......cotto aint my boy...ggg aint my boy...i like and respect both guys alot......but people like you and the rest of the ggg superfans are a disgrace to boxing fandom....you arent fans of the sport.....you are fans of fighters.......if we put ggg exactly in cottos shoes youd be saying how smart he his...how he played this perfectly and made the most money and got the biggest fight....if we put cotto in gggs shoes youd call cotto a coward for ducking ward
You're the one who always goes around in circles, I've explained to you a freaking thousand times the difference between GGG's so called duck of Ward and Cotto ducking GGG and yet you keep coming back with this, I will never agree with you on this issue, Cotto was the MW champion, GGG never fought at 168 here's the difference for you. The fact that you think weight classes and titles are useless doesn't mean that everyone agrees with you on these things. Either way, I'm glad Cotto dropped his title rather than waste any more time for this division, he's already done enough damage as it is. Now let's just hope he wins so that we don't get another time waster on our hands.
