At either FW or LW? Dustin’s boxin gg was effective at countering Conor’s style in their rematches, and Ilia is even better.
Conor had a very different style in the latter Dustin fights. Actually I would more so look at how Mendes was able to land on Conor. FW Conor could take a punch, and he had solid wrestling. Dude was massive at the weight, and a nightmare for anyone.
It was the kicks not the boxing. Even in the 2nd and 3rd fight Conors hands were still causing him issues. And that's a highly diminished version.
Not imo. I think he does well at first, maybe even scores a knockdown early on... but Ilias on a different level imo and eventually his class and style would take over. Ilia by late KO
Conor`s huge reach advantage would give him an advantage, Conor was always good vs short armed fighters.
Conor was a fairly one dimensional sniper who had athleticism and exceptional size and power at 145. Wouldnt count him out but i'd solidly favour Ilia who has a more developed boxing game, seemingly a better chin and his wrestling base in his back pocket even though he rarely even needs to use it.
