Nard will open a gash in Calzaghe's forehead early on via a headbutt. This will totally throw Joe off his game as Hopkins hits and holds for 12 rounds on his was to decision win.

Is this a D-Hop vs Witter style prediction?

The biggest key against Floyd is not neccesarily foot movement, but head movement. If Corey wants to win this fight he'll have to have excellent head movement. Floyd is fast enough, and smart enough to not be fustrated by Corey's foot movement. If Corey displays excellent head movement, I see Floyd going to the body very often.

I'm sure as hell not going to admit defeat in this fight. At the same time, I'm not going to bet on it either.

I think at 154 Corey would win this one, at 147 I lean slightly towards Floyd. Spinks handels agressio very well, and as someone pointed out, the only time Floyd can be hit is when he throws punches himself Corey is master at this. Oc we should also consider that sometimes Spinks gets a bit careless, like against Judah.
Maby its a boring match for some of you, but Id rather see Spinks instead of Delahoya, but it will never happen.

Should he not use tactics? It doesn't matter "why" he was on the frontfoot. The fact is that he was.

In terms of your "although not all of the time" with regards to Ndou, why is that an issue? Is a person supposed to do only one thing in a fight to satisfy you?

If you think he never came forward at 130lbs, or was not aggressive enough, you haven't seen him at that weight.

    Possibly.

But the fight is too risky so Floyd won't make it.

I'd really be curious to see this actually, but far too many idiot boxing fans make too many comments about how boring it would be and that sort of talk does reach the ears of the industry decision-makers, which effectively squashes any chance of this ever happening. I'm surprised Wright-Hopkins got made, but both were at least somewhat in the peripheral vision of casual fans. Hardly anybody that doesn't closely follow the sport knows who Spinks is, and of those that do less than half are mature enough to respect him. Damn shame.

I've always said Spinks would PBF fits with his movement jab, speed and southpaw stance. This would be a great chess match between two technicians. In the end I see PBF slowly starting to figure out Spinks probably around round 7 or 8 and sweeping the rest of the rounds. I think Spinks could win atleast 3 or 4 rounds against PBF . We've never seen PBF in a fight against someone as slick as Spinks and it would be interesting to see how he would react. I would love to see this fight but of course PBF would get killed for taking the fight as if Spinks is garbage or somthing he's B+ fighter maybe even A-.
