    Could Walcott in place of Michael Spinks beat Holmes ?
    The same Jersey that tormented Louis ,could he go better and end Holmes unbeaten run ?

    I think he could. I think Walcott would be a thorn in the side of a prime Holmes

    I see where your coming from .I've always thought Jersey gives Ali fits.A prime Holmes would have his hands full.with Joe .A 85 Version finds himself pissed off ,and unable to land anything meaningful on Walcott. He'd see the title slipping away but be helpless to prevent it .

    I think Walcott, in his prime & on his best night, would indeed befuddle the past prime, middle 30's version of Holmes who seemed to be chasing Spink's underwater at times throughout their bout.
