Its not close to as stupid a question as you are making it out to be.

So we're just comparing resumes instead of abilities now?

Froch has a great resume. He's been in with some great fighters, but let's not kid ourselves here. We're here to compare abilities and skill-sets when matching up fighters.

    - Kovalev is faster
    - Kovalev has better movement
    - Kovalev punches harder
    - Kovalev is in his prime, while Froch is on the slide.

Does that mean Froch is going to lose? Of course not, but even the British bookmakers will have Kovalev as the favorite if they fight. I guarantee that much.

    rofl x D

lets say a ward froch clash in UK would produce 10 million $

Ward shouldnt be so greedy, he’s used to making peanuts so if he gets 2 out of those 10 million he should be happy
,especially since most claim he would beat froch easy anytime thus making it an easy payday… hell, he could make a trip to the UK once every month! this way Froch could actually get to fight ward 10 times and see how many times ward gets Ktfo

personally im certain froch would win 10/10
Ward was just lucky the first time

alternatively he could probably convince kessler to wait with his retirement if he would come to denmark for a rematch, that would also produce a similar
    amount of $$$

again im certain ward would get KtfO

or he could have a small time fight with adonis stevenson , andre dirrell, or anthony dirrell ( i doubt this would produce nearly as much $) but even this is too scary for him…

or maybe take on Bute allthough his 0 was taken by froch allready

theres plenty of interesting fights for him to pick , but he rather take on kelly pavlik , (even though pavlik is buisy most saturdays getting wasted he might be persuaded to find one in his calendar) ,Dimitri Sartison, and hes considering fighting someone smaller than him from lower weight classes…i mean cmon, coward ranked #1???

to me froch is number 1 p4p
    actually entertains the fight fans
keeps his hands low like a boss
    never made the chicken dance
comes back stronger from a loss
not to mention he backs up what he says unlike the son of a goat

    end of note

btw Froch stops kovalev in his tracks with a venomous double cobra jab followed by a lethal right uppercut :bbb

Wow, Kovalev beats a limited fighter in Cleverly who stands in front of him with zero deffence and no power and all of a sudden he's drawing fantasy matches against Froch.

This place has gone to ****, one win over someone who's not even remotely close to world level, let alone elite and you're jerking him off.

  8. Shut up. I am sure you are one of the guys who hyped David Price, said GGG will have a tough fight against Macklin or that Cleverly even wins.

Kovalev K.O'es Froch in round 6, deal with it.

You seem to be mistaking me for some fan boy of British fighters, well for starters I'm not British and secondly, I've never thought much of David Price, Macklin or Cleverly.

I am however sold on Froch, his resume is deep and he's fought a who's who of the SMW division. Kovalev beats some FW manufactured WBO belt holder and now he's the second coming of Christ. I'm not saying this guys not legit or a decent fighter, I'm just saying get off his nuts, he's done nothing yet to prove he's on the same level as the likes of Froch.

If we're to make assumptions of each other, then I'd guess you were one of the people who thought Jeff Lacy was the new Mike Tyson

Ward does not school him Ward would get taken apart on the inside short chopping shots to the body and head he is going down. He has been on ***** street from lesser punchers.

Froch beats him to UD or late stoppage in a all out war by the way, the Russian is good but his skills are not elite

And Froch skills are elite? He isnt elite himself. Joke of the decade. :rofl:rofl.

Andre Ward is elite and Andre Dirrel had the ability to be elite. Mikkel Kessler and Carl Froch are PEDESTRIANS among Felix Sturms and buddies.:deal

  13. Finally someone who knows about boxing .. this Kesser, Froch hype is ridicolous. Made some entertaining fights against each other, got their ass kicked by Ward and one of the biggest schoolings in boxing history and are hyped to be elite :rofl

Right, explain yourself. How is Kessler over the hill?

I'm a big Froch fan but what people appear to be missing here is the sheer size difference. Compared to Cleverly Kovalev was a monster in there, and although Froch is a big Super Middle there would be a big size difference.
Also although he can fight cautious and cagey if need be we all know Carl also likes to engage toe to toe quite often which I think would be a mistake even for him, granite chin and all.
Kovalev to me would simply be too big and powerful even for Froch.
