Frazier was just better than Rahman.

This is just a gross generalization

I think most on here judge on a case by case basis.

I don't think anyone has chosen Frazier in this thread simply because he is the less "modern" fighter in this matchup.

That clearly wasn't my point, nor my belief one way or another.

    Highly unlikely I would say.

Rahman was decent, but I think many pick Frazier because he was the better fighter. I'd put Rahman on par with say Bonavena, although they both had their strengths and weaknesses.

Probably should have won the rematch, though. That said, I've got Frazier winning this match-up.

Frazier is favored and likely wins, but Rahman would make it interesting imo.

Didn't Tua have a nice late punch go at poor Rahman after the bell had ended a round during their bout? A convenient fact to forget.

Could: absolutely...Rahman on the right night has a shot against just about anyone

Would: not the most likely scenario

I don't see anything Rahman could do to Frazier off of him. He didn't have the jab of Ali, or the physical strength or style of G.Foreman. Some one wrote Frazier was their to be hit. But prime Frazier made the fastest Heavy in history miss more than he landed in the FOTC, In possibly the fastest paced 15 rd fight in heavyweight history. Rahman could have some moments early against the usually slow starting Frazier, but when Frazier starts really smoking, somewhere around the 6th rd, the fight would be all Frazier. Either the ref stops the fight or Rahman quits in the corner by the 10th rd. Rahman's intestinal fortitude wasn't close to the best seen also.
