    1) No, why would it matter??? Fatton would have more trouble making the weight, and Floyd would've been the same fighter.
    2) No, if you allowed all clinching, bullying, and dirty tactics, it wouldn't be an officiated bout. Besides, Hatton wasn't exactly bullying Mayweather like I thought he would. Did Hatton seem stronger or tougher?
    3) No, because of all fighters alive, PBF is used to criticism and being booed even in his "hometown". Look at the De La Hoya fight. Hell, he wasn't even the crowd favorite in Vegas against Hatton.

You're just fishing for possibilities. PBF is the better fighter, get over it. He wouldn't beat Mayweather any day, at any weight, unless he just got lucky and knocked him out. He has a puncher's chance, and nothing more.

The only question that you could've asked that would change me is:

If you gave Hatton a baseball bat, and tied Mayweather to a chair in the center of the ring, could Hatton beat him?

Then the answer would be simply put YES.

Hatton could beat Mayweather, if he brought a Rocket Launcher into the ring with him.

Or...maybe if they both came to the ring at their natural weight (Hatton at 185-200lbs, Mayweather at 151lbs) and it was a wrestling match...maybe then Hatton would win?

Other than that, let's get real...I knew there was only one way Hasim Rahman could beat Lennox Lewis...Lewis would have to be out of shape, and Rahman would need a lucky punch. That's what happened...As an American, I respected Lewis for his skill and dominance.

Don't insult PBF by saying that Hatton ever had more than a puncher's chance. That's it...

Ricky could beat Wlad, with Parris or Vann in tow. Just think 2 swollen, bleeding gonads.

1- Weight does not do anything. Floyd would only be faster at 140.
2- Floyd was the one bullying Hatton on the inside, rewatch the fight. Unless you mean "a ref who only allows Hatton to use dirty tactics"?
3-Manchester would not change anything, Floyd is not one to lose focus.

People just don't understand the dehydration process...they think the fighters fight at the official weight...

Floyd would just shed some water weight for the weigh-in and Ricky would shed enough to get down to 140 and they would call it a different weight class and people would just find other excuses...

Floyd is just the better fighter simply put. I watched the replay this past weekend and Mayweather owned him. He beat ricky at his own game inside and out. that is why he is the p4p champ.

When the refferee aloud bully tatics in the fight, it was Floyd Mayweather that was getting the better of Ricky Hatton.

Ricky Hatton was just walking forward and holding.

PBF is the better fighter period. At 140 it would been round 8 and 10 on a grander scale.

"You don't win titles at 5 weight classes, coming from 130 - 154. Go 39 - 0 25 K.O'S, champion for almost 10 years. Floyd Mayweather Junior, No question"

"Being scared to take a punch"

"Ricky Hatton must be scared of taking a punch, outside of the 140 light welter division. Because he has ran back down to 140 on two occasions now. First after the fight with Luiz Callozo nearly taking him out, and now after Floyd "Lights Out" Maywather shut his lights out"

Yeh sure, that's why it was fought at 147, in Vegas, with Joe 'Bent ref' Cortez.

You think Hatton insisted on each three of those cicrumstances?

Of course not you cumstain, because they all hindered him.

No-one is denying Mayweathe ris the better boxer, but everyone thought Tszyu is/was the better boxer and Hatton got the better of him unde rthe circumstances. Just maybe, he could do the same to Mayweather.

I don't think the ref nor the venue would make any difference(even though Joe Cortez was a disgrace). What MAY well be a factor would be if the fight was at 140. Hatton has had two fights at 147 and is clearly not a Welter, so I'd like to see how he does at 140. I'm sure it would be far closer. Floyd should be able to make 140 no problem

then why was it fought at 147.

you honestly think Hatton insisted on 147 after the way he struggled with Collazo?
