Could Holmes have gotten up from final knockdown?

    Larry was pretty much out cold, any moron could see that, to let him get up and take more punishment would have been irresponsible.

    Is this serious? Holmes looks completely out, doesn't even flinch after the knockdown.

    Larry was out cold,knocked out,asleep,goodnight,counting sheep.Larry wasnt just lying there thinking ive had enough.I might just lay here and pretend to be out cold.it looks like he was out cold for about 10-12 seconds.larry holmes didnt just Lay on the mat and say ive had enough.Larry was a proud tough fighter,he just did not do things like that.:patsch

    If Holmes himself thought he had any chance of beating the guy, he could have gone after a rematch at some point during stage 2 of their careers.

    the first knockdown had scrambled his brains, 2nd was a cuff but hurtful enough when disorientated, 3rd was flush, no getting up and why would you want to.
