Not only that....he didn't let his hands go until late in the fight.

It's not a good sign if you have to save your energy against a 50 y/o fighter with ZERO offense.

Hopkins can't knock over a box of cereal.

A great little man can beat a mediocre big man.

    CW Cunningham dropped Fury
CW Huck beat Povetkin and was robbed.
MW Roy Jones Jr beat John Ruiz
Small CW Briedis KO'd Charr Cold.

    I wouldn't write Kovalev off.

Pimp C, I agree with you, Wilder is too big.

But that naysayer is a chump, one of Kovalev's best attributes is his footwork and range- yet he calls him flat footed.

Kovelev sure squares-up a lot for somebody that is supposed to have great footwork.

Gotta go with the Panthers but you still can't count Denver out because of their defense. BTW I picked Denver to beat New England. Who you got?

I give Kovalev his due he's very good and has good boxing ability. He can move and is very smart with it. His size would be his undoing here he would have hell dealing with Wilder's reach. Lastly, it's possible that Wilder has the faster hands as well.

6'2 Cruiserweight Russian KOing Wilder whose style isn't entirely dissimilar from Kovalev's. Kovalev walks around at CW.

Panthers are hungry man….I'd never count out any team that makes it that far….naturally them boys don't know when they'll get the opportunity again especially in football, its like a fat chick that gives great head they do so out of necessity….have to relish the moment.

Panthers are extremely balanced gonna put some dough on them.

If Kovalev thought he could beat Wilder, or any of the top tier heavyweights, he'd move up and do it. More money and prestige at heavyweight than light heavy.

Wilder would absolultely walk over Kovalev. Kovalev is a very good light heavyweight but all the size, weight, reach, etc he'd be giving up would be way too much.

Wilder is simply too big and hits too hard. He will no doubt hurt Kovalev possibly with a stiff jab. If he hurts him with a jab then you already know what comes next.

    Hellava shot

Still doesn't change my thoughts there are so many factors that come into play with that bout happening today (Kova vs Wilder) I don't have the patience to play it out for you but more power to you for showing the video and adding hope to a hopeless situation.

BTW have you every sparred with headgear and without it….I can't stand head gear its like getting hit with a mallet around the top of the head you feel that **** down to your toes….I much rather get hit without the head gear no lie the shock value remains focused on the place where the punch landed for the most part :yep
