Lomachenko is 2 inches taller, but would be 6 inches under if he fought Pacquiao. All joking aside (even though I was gravely serious), both are can't miss fighters.
Skillswise yes. Timewise, I'm not sure he has enough time to do it in, although he got off to a flying start. Maybe he can.
beating pac would be a great start. its a shame he doesnt fancy the work, apparently he would get no credit for beating this old man.
I'm gonna keep going on record and saying it — Pacquiao would DESTROY Lomachenko. It would be Pacquiao's easiest fight since David Diaz.
He started too late. That said, Pac's greatest accomplishments came after the age of 30 (Dela Hoya onwards). Lomachenko just has to keep going in the same trajectory as he is now but also start being more vocal in wanting the big fights. That will put pressure on Arum and the public will start demanding it too
Hopefully the fact that Pac has a title and can still get a win like this convinces Lomachenko that it’s a valuable fight. Lomachenko is clearly levels and levels above Pac in terms of skill. But Pac has an all time great career. Floyd is more skilled than Pac but in terms of career/resume/greatness he’s also far behind Pac.
Haven’t seen that guy in years. Rumour has it he is going to box that angry short guy from the bagel shop. Anybody who knows anything about boxing knows that Lomachenko is light years above Pac in terms of boxing skill. Pac isn’t great because of his boxing skill, it’s his physical attributes. It’s not actually that difficult to be more skilled than Pac, many of his opponents he beat were better boxers than him. Pac certainly doesn’t have all time skills, but that’s part of the reason why he’s one of the greatest of all time. JMM, Barrera, Morales, Bradley etc. were all more skilled than Pac.
Pacquiao's boxing skills are grossly underestimated. Pac's parry, catch and shoot, and feint game are all A+. He's become an exceptional counterpuncher to go along with his impossible angles. And he sets traps all the time. Pac does have very little to no inside game, though. I love Loma, man, but Pacquiao smokes him and produces a savage highlight reel KO.
