Could Margarito be Pacquaio's biggest test since JMM?

    No.

Pac will beat him to the punch again and again and move in and out fast peppering him with hooks and straight lefts at will. He will bust him up, make him look clumsy and finish him off around the 7th or 8th with Margarito looking like he has been run over.

Am really looking forward to this fight now, whereas I wasn't particularly enamoured with it when it was signed. Excellent main support fight as well.

Definite win/win. Either Pac puts a complete beating on Marg which would put a smile on every boxing fans face around the world or Marg manages to pressure Manny and land a few shots which would make it a great fight to watch. I personally think it'll be the most exciting Pac fight since the JMM rematch.

24/7 has really fine tuned their suggestive editing for this one; They had too because on paper it's a mismatch.

Margarito has always been an accumulative puncher IMO, who gets stronger as the fight goes on and his opponent wilts. Pacs seemingly endless gas tank, fast feet and durability should see Margarito miss a lot, not do too much damage and for Pac to be able to slip away from Margarito on the ropes by hitting him with a counter and getting out.

And now on the offensive side: Pacs angles will be too much for Margarito. I think Mosley showed awesome hand speed in the Margo fight, and he has heavier hands than Pac IMO. It's Mannys angles, and his flurries setting up big shots that Toni won't see coming that will allow him to have a similar effect that Mosley had, without employing the same 'tie him up, whack him hard' that Mosley did, Shane has always been a big strong bull of a fighter, and Toni was made for him. I think Pac will get a better physical version of Margarito, but one that has lost his unstoppable aura.

Pac will be outpunching so badly late, that the referee will have to save Toni, though as aforementioned I don't think Pacman can bludgeon him down, but will be too sharp for Margarito, baffling him and stunning him more than battering him like Shane did.

    Different gameplan, similar result IMO.

One thing that has worrie me is that Pac does appear disinterested, plugging his book and whatnot. If Toni has reclaimed the fire, and if, and this is a big if, he was only supplied with a foreign substance for the Shane fight because of his obviously bad physical condition, and he really was such a beast (his chin is still pretty close to undentable IMHO, he took a barrage from Mosley and was still smiling at the end, and clearly not in the best of shape) then Pac is in for a much rougher night IMO.

Hopefully that happens: if Pac comes through a war Floyd will be more willing to fight him, like Ray was over Hagler fought Mugabi :yep

I can only see a one sided beatdown before the fight is stopped in the second half of the fight.

Margarito is far too slow and far too easy to hit.

Will probably be an exciting fight. Margarito did not train for the Mosley fight according to Emanuel Steward, but he sure trained for the Pac fight.
