I'm picking Martinez to win, but why do people always short change Pac as being the small guy, and having 0 chance against the bigger guys?
Pac takes on DLH, and 99% of people thought his head was getting knocked off his shoulders. Of course DLH looked bad, but what happened? He fights Hatton, a much more live body than DLH it seemed, and looked what happened. Fights Cotto, fights Margarito, fights Clottey, fights Mosley.... on and on every fights it seems the same fans come out with "Pac has no chance!"; "Pac gets destroyed!"
Actually, the fights they said he would destroy his opponents (Marquez and Bradley) he didn't. Perhaps he needs a lot of people against him.

I think Martinez beats him based on size, skill, etc, BUT Pac does have a chance no doubt. He needs to be the aggressive Pac we used to see. If we were I'd give him 30/70 odds against Martinez.

  2. People completely ignore the free punch before every round...

    :-(

Is the free punch Martinez standing still and sticking his chin out for Pac to hit as hard as he can?

If that is the case I'd back Pac, but I do think Martinez would beat him badly as 154, let alone 160.

The problem is - Pac's never fought at 154 in his life, despite winning a title at 154 :happy

I think that was his highest agreed weight against Margarito

Don't think he came in at 150 though

Exactly. We all know that fight should've never taken placed. When Martinez offered to fight at the same catchweight of 150 in the 154 division (lol seriously??) roach quickly backpedaled. "Uh no, that's too big."

    Hilarious.
