I'm resolved to slip the word 'revindicate' into at least one conversation today.

Taylor had said before the fight it would be his last fight at 160 win or lose so, in this instance, I feel it is a legitimate excuse. I also felt the KO was a touch strange, he look as much tired as he was hurt. I'm not saying Taylor will definitely win but I think he will, at least, be more comfortable with the extra weight.

Pavlik's gameplan was simple last time out. He absorbed the early pressure & threw straight punches. People are going to think I'm getting at Pavlik here, I'm not, but I do feel Taylor tired in that fight & Pavlik was able to finish him off. I think it's fair to say Taylor has more variety than Pavlik so if he doesn't tire I feel Kelly will have to do something different to win the rematch. The question will be, can he do this?

True champions rebound from adversity, we'll see what Taylor is made of. I give him credit for taking an immediate rematch although I don't think it's best for him. I think Pavlik will be more confident, relaxed and perform even better in this fight.

Pavlik was knocked down ONCE and was up by the count of two...not exactly the scenario in which any ref will stop the fight. Sure, he wobbled after that, but didn't go down, was able to keep his hands up and defend himself. At the end of the round, he actually fought back and forced Taylor to clinch. People need to get over this idea that Taylor was just a whisker away from kocking Pavlik out, he was hurt, but between being hurt and being KO'ed, there is still a lot of in - between room. Taylor has NOT proven that he canknock Pavlik out. On the other hand, Taylor sat on his ass for half a minute and didn't protest the stoppage. There is obviously a huge difference between these fighters in their ability to KO the other guy.

I beleive this fight will be not a about a gameplan but about heart and determination...Pavlik determination to win and show that it was not a fluck, and JT's heart to win his respect in boxing once again...

JT has far more to lose on this fight than KP, he has his boxing career at stake, while KP, well we all think he could rebound if he loses plus he still be the title holder...

For many reason, I beleive that JT will be more economical and compact with his punches and he will need to fall back on what work for him for so well, a strong snapping jab, KP, is not har to find in the ring, and if JT stick to his basic strategy of stick and move, will make the night long for KP to keep moving trying to find range and JT....but if he becaome statiuc and try to make it a brawl, it is advantage KP..it is as simple as that...

He did look tired, but that was because Pavlik put him to sleep. And we'll see what happens this time around.

He tired becuasse he spent himslef in the 2nd round, throwing punches at will with out a game plan attack to put Pavlikto sleep, he miss so many power punches on that round , he was done for the rest of the fight, and add to that he keep throwing heymakers the rest of the night...JT lost that fight becuase he lack the experience of finishing...and inside fighting...if JT would improve his inside fighting and becomes more patient he could win saturday

Pavlik by KO again. I like Taylor but, mentally, it's tough to get over being starched like that.

All along i been backing Kelly to win this rematch but the closer it comes the more i favour Taylor i dont no why, His stamina is **** and has always been his achillies he gassed against Hopkins the first time and against Ouma but Pavlik just seems to basic 1-2 1-2 all the time it worked against Taylor cus of his left being low but if Taylor keeps it up and throws combos then i think he could knock Pavlik out who admitted Taylor hit him the hardest hes ever been hit.

Taylor is always going to be a dangerous foe, coming off of a loss might make him more so. Or he could be stuggling mentally and get blitzed.

I think Taylor comes back stronger and makes this a great fight.

I have no way of proving but I think the added weight will benefit Pavlik more than Taylor.

When it comes down to it the reason I think Pavlik scores another knockout of Taylor is one main reason.....he is simply a slightly higher caliber of a fighter.

Pavlik by ko in a simular fashion to the first fight. And though I still give him an ok chance for a ko win himself, I don't think Taylor is fleetfooted enough to avoid Pavliks attacks to fight an effective defensive fight. He's got to put the hurt on Pavlik and discourage him early. It didn't quite work last time out however.
Taylor might be able to stop him early and I feel thats his best chance for victory.

One intangible is the extra weight. This could favour Taylor.

I will admit, i am rooting for JT as i like the guy but Pavlik is the truth. Unless if JT fights a perfect fight, i see Pavlik winning by KO again.
