Zale was just a stand up straight stalker style fighter. Leonard would fight him the same way he fought Hagler, with movement.
Hagler was the champion and agreed to those terms, nobody put a gun to his head. I think when people mention those things, they are trying to find excuses. I do no believe any of that really would have mattered.
I think the version of Ray that fought Kalule or thereabouts might be too fast and classy for Tony personally. I'd favor Ray by decision with class beating a little bit of size.
