Just watched it again. If anything he was moving his hand to parry the possible incoming jab. Doesn't look like anything that would constitute a feint

 

And you act like it's within your realm of comprehension then? Sounds like you got a case of elitism. Yes I know he doesn't have to present the entire jab motion or even the start of it to make it a feint. What I'm saying is he didn't feint against Pac's initial feint which you say led to Pac committing to his attack. He's done that his whole career even when his initial feint doesn't elicit a response from his opponent.

 

Not to you because you have never boxed a day in your life. You think he has to stick his arm all the way out for it to be a feint.

And how stupid are you? Marquez isn't parrying ****! He knows Manny's head movement was a feint. Why the hell would he parry it.

The left is dropping as he throws the right not because he is parrying but because he is putting everything he has into his right.

You dont have to be elite to know that as you get better reaction time improves you just have to have boxed some.

Again he knew it was a feint. He isn't going to parry a punch that the knows isn't coming.

Watch the video again. He is dropping his entire body to the left not just his ****ing hand. From the top of his head all the way to his ****ing toes with his right from right to left from up to down with the fist of his right hand at the tail end of the whip. Its basic kinesthetics and simple punch technique. Its not a ****ing parry.

Since you have never thrown a punch in you life you posing ***** lets just do a little simple test. Get someone to hold a pillow for you (dont worry you dont heed a heavy bag you wont hurt them) and throw an overhand right as hard as you absolutely can.

You will find that naturally your left open out and down. This is basic body kinesthetics and physics. The opening of the left allows you to create more torque, it also stretches the thorax allowing you to get more muscle into your right, and it helps balance you.

Quarterbacks and pitchers do the same thing for the exact same ****ing reasons. Boxers normally dont because it leaves you open but hat is a trained response that actually takes a little off of your punch. However, Marquez was going for broke and put absolutely everything he had into that punch.

Again you dont know **** about boxing.

 

your original argument is that JMM feinted Pac's feint to get the KO, but now he was simply dipping to his left to get torque into his punch? which is it?
why can't it be one motion? it's entirely possible that he thought a jab was coming and so moved his left hand towards the right and down to deflect it. His body dips to the left and out of the way of the possible jab. Continuing the motion, he swings his right and connects.

I made no such statement. You are simply stupid. You said that it look to you like he was using his arm to parry. Referring to how he dropped his arm low before landing the right.

I'm telling you that the motion of the arm after his feint which you mistook as a parry was him simply loading up on the right hand. I'm still at a loss of how he would be parrying what he clearly knew was a feint but hey we know you are stupid.

Lets look at your logic. Manny made a feint to induce a jab. Marquez knowing that Manny has likes to throw the 1-2 reads the feint but doesn't feint a jab which he has done numerous times in their 4 fights and instead uses his left hand to parry a punch he knows isn't coming.

This is one hell of a stretch of logic. Occams Razor applies here two ways.

#1 Yes it was a feint designed to get Manny to throw his 1-2.

#2 You were wrong in your first post and you have been playing mental gymnastics derailing the thread ever since then to keep form admitting that you were wrong. People who think that they are smart but really know that they are stupid do this. Smart people admit they were wrong and move one.

See we know 2 things.

#1 Marquez feinted a jab to draw Manny's 1-2.
