Crawford has won world titles in 3 weight classes, being undisputed in one. Surely overall p4p his resume is regarded as better. Like I say I'm not hyping up either man but Spence to me sounds like the one trying to avoid this fight.
Just goes to show ya how little belts mean today. It is very frustrating being a boxing fan these days. Imagine if your favorite American Football, Baseball, Basketball or Hockey team, kept repeatedly playing the same few teams at the bottom of the division? No, better yet, imagine having to wait through a strike before they finally play the worst? Then to pay nearly 100 bucks to see it after waiting all that time?
Indongo (the unified champion he beat to become undisputed) went on to lose multiple fights to fighters rated around 100 right after. His JWW resume is insanely weak for an undisputed champion. Pretty widely regarded as the worst divisional resume of any four belt undisputed champion in history.
Who else could he have beaten or should he have beaten? I wouldn't really say Crawford has ducked anybody.
I'm not calling him a duck, but he should fight Spence, and he should fight top WWs besides those Spence has already beaten. He only fights beaten fighters. The last guy with a perfect record he fought, Benavidez Jr, was shot in the leg before Crawford fought him. He could fight an unbeaten top guy. Ortiz calls him out every day, and yet he fights Avanesyan, who was KOd by a guy Crawford already KOd.
Bud best win is Porter and is the only guy to stop him. Spence got a gift decision over Spence, I had Porter edging it. Haymon don't want to risk Spence against Bud, he wants Bud to show signs of being past it before he risks Spence.
I was a bud fan until now. Anyone making excuses for him fighting this bum is just being a bud groupie at this point
Postol was seen as a 50/50 fight. Crawford dominated him. Felix Diaz was an Olympic gold medalist whose only loss was a robbery against Lamont Peterson. Crawford dominated and stopped him. Porter was supposed to be Crawford's hardest fight, and possibly give him his first loss. Crawford becomes the only fighter to stop him. "HE'S FOUGHT BUMS DOE!".
he tops them all except spence, after spences last fight with ugas spence makes crawford winded and takes it by sd
He's a really good fighter, definitely one of the top 5 most skilled in the game, but he just has a weak resume
